I launched the first set of video graphics made specifically for new vloggers and content creators on Working Womxn. I really wanted it to be super versatile and playful, with everything a new creator would need to put together sleek videos for their social media platforms.
The pack included 60+ animated video graphics for Youtube and Instagram, including text frames, film frames, animated emojis, backgrounds, numbers and call-to-action pop ups.
It took us a couple of months to come up with the concept, get inspiration, create all of the elements and stress test everything included to make sure it could be used in all major editing softwares and apps available. I also took a bit of time to create Canva templates for all of the graphics, for all the ladies who LOVE creating in Canva as much as I do!
It was hard work, but also so much fun getting to put it all together and collaborate with an amazing artist, Rachel Bailey!
Creating Video Graphics
We pinned up a storm on Pinterest, coming up with creative concepts for each of the elements in the pack. It was clear from the beginning that we should have a cohesive theme across all the graphics. We settled on wanderlust/paradise as a theme — and the name Vloggers Paradise fit like a dream!
This was one of my fav parts of the process. Once we had the basic elements ironed out, we got to work creating the assets…
We divided up the assets between us and got to work designing and animating! It was super important to me to have as much versatility and inclusion as possible. Because of this, we created and stress tested different colours, sizes and skin tones for the graphics. The whole process took about six weeks from start to finish.
Stress Testing + Launch
What good is the pack if it cannot be used?! What’s why lots of time was taken to make sure the graphics could work in multiple editing software. These include Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, and Final Cut Pro. I’m a HUGE fan of Canva, so I also created a Canva template with our graphics for anyone who uses Canva for their social posts too.
